Howick Community Constable
My name is Phil Savill I have been
with the New Zealand Police for just over five years. Before joining the police
I worked in the automotive industry and worked in a number of jobs including being
self employed.
The main reason I joined the police is that I wanted to
be involved in the Community and felt that by joining the police I could achieve
this. For the last five years I have been based mainly in Otahuhu and have for
the last 18 months working in the Intelligence section.
I am an active
member of the Howick Community Church which meets at the Picton Centre in Howick
and also am an active member on the Board of Trustees at Owairoa Primary.
I
am looking forward to getting to know the community more and learning to understand
the issues that people are concerned about.
